Support for Those Who’ve Served—And Still Carry the Weight

Trauma-informed therapy for Veterans, First Responders, and frontline professionals navigating the lasting impact of service.

You’ve seen more than most people ever will—and carried it without complaint.

Whether you’re a combat Veteran, a survivor of military sexual trauma, or a First Responder who’s been trained to run toward crisis, the toll of service can stay with you long after the moment has passed.

You might be:

  • Living with hypervigilance, being on constant alert and on guard
  • Pushing down pain to stay functional
  • Struggling in relationships and at work
  • Feeling isolated or misunderstood
  • Blaming yourself and replaying scenarios in your mind

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to carry it alone anymore.

You don’t have to explain everything. I’ve worked in these spaces—and I’m here to help.

As a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience, I’ve worked extensively with:

  • Combat Veterans returning from deployment
  • Survivors of Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
  • First Responders coping with repeated exposure to trauma, loss, and crisis
  • Veterans navigating the transition to civilian life

During my 12 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs, I provided trauma-focused care to individuals navigating PTSD, moral injury, and service-related stressors. My approach blends clinical depth, cultural competence, and genuine respect for the intensity of your lived experience.

I offer a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and trauma-informed approach, drawing from:

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD and trauma-related thoughts
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you move forward with clarity and values-based action
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for managing anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation
  • Mindfulness and somatic-based tools to support nervous system recovery and reconnection to the present
  • Person-in-environment framework, addressing how systems and experiences shape your mental health

You won’t be asked to re-live everything. We’ll focus on what’s affecting your life right now—and how to regain a sense of control, trust, and stability.

If you’re ready to begin, or even just curious about whether therapy might help, I offer a free  consultation to talk through your questions.

Let's talk

With the right support, it’s possible to:

  • Feel less reactive and more in control
  • Restore relationships and rebuild trust
  • Improve sleep, concentration, and mood
  • Navigate anger, shame, or grief with compassion
  • Reconnect with your sense of purpose

You’ve done what it takes to survive. Now, let’s focus on what it means to heal.
